Just bought 89 Pachanga. What is the max rpm for the 454 330hp engine? Also does anyone know the normal operating range for oil temp?

Oil temp up to 245 is fine.
You actually want your oil to run over 215 to keep the moisture out.

Just got a 27 pachanga 454. Runs only 4200 @ 40 mph. Also low temp

Low oil temp could be good or bad, just depends on how low you are talking about. As stated above, you want the oil at least 200ish.
Congrats on the Pachange, P-27's are hard to find with twin big blocks. Where did you find her, and please share some pictures.
