ECM/Timing?
I have a 575sci it has a mifi3 ecm, if the timing is set to 8 in service mode and it was working fine. Is there anyway the timing can move by it's self other than the distributer bolt coming lose or the timing chain slipping or the pin on the distributer braking.
I took the boat in for a ICA issue and got it back headed for the lake for a long weekend and it would barely run. we checked the timing and in service mode it was sitting around 36. we reset it to 8, and it seems to be running fine. the boat shop said "we didn’t touch the timing”??
