I noticed that also!
Mainly i will be running the river and lakes. Maybe on ocassion I will hit Lake michigan.
Thanks for all the opinions on them either way.

I have a 25' 1990 Switzer. 454 Magnum, Bravo 1. Boat has 21* deadrise at the transom. Boat is good on the rivers and I run it in the ocean. Have to pick and choose the days. Handles 1-2 footers pretty well. 2-4 it goes through it but you get pounded pretty good. Boat seems to slide in the corners and you have to lift off the throttle to get rid of the slide. With my set-up I've been 63mph on the gps with over a half a tank of fuel and 2 people on board. I think it is capable of a little more with less fuel. Thats all I have. If you give me a e-mail address I can send you the test that Powerboat Magazine did on this boat.

Yea, that one always stuck with me after I first heard it. Kinda leaves one with a great visual doesn't it?

Not a rough water boat.. deck isnt glassed on, 21 degree deadrise, poor finish work.

I had a 22 footer, same hull design and deadrise as the larger ones and i ran it in buzzards bay this summer, it was a fun boat did 60 with a 270 hp 350 mag.

Like the other guy said, 1-2 footers great boat, 2-4 not so much, anything more than 3 footers and it was throttle back and get the crap pounded out of you.

Its a calm water boat it doesnt land well after getting air IMO. That said when it was calm out it ran awesome and handled really well.
