Ghost you can see where my dry exhaust dumps. You can also see the rings and seals clearly.

Brilliant, thanks mate!
That's what I was after.
I'm overseas at the moment so I haven't had a good look at the outputs yet.
Really nice boat by the way! Curse you, I want one!!!
I take it yours is quite loud?
I'm lucky, there are no noise restrictions where I live but my wife will probably beat me to death if the boat is too loud. She hated my Sanger Drag Boat for that reason. So did the neighbours, police etc.
Those GGB insert mufflers, are they like the Basset slip-ins you put put in drag / v-drive boat headers? I'm seriously condsidering a set now.
Thanks all!

Ghostrider, yes they are. Our insert muffler will slide right inside the tail and lock in place. What kind of power are you running and what OD are the tails?

Ghost see if you can open up the video. If you can, you will be able to see how loud it is. By the way, I got addicted to this stuff with a Sanger Drag Boat.

Thanks for the response Graham,

Right now I'm only running about 500hp (468BBC). Problem with my current motor is the LSA (110) on the cam doesn't like the exhaust at all (EMI).

I bought the exhaust to work with a planned 540ci in the works which I'll aim for around 650hp.

In the mean time, I'll run it on the 468 and hope to get a bit more power. I'm changing heads and cam (Crane 741), so I should see about 530-550hp.

I'll confirm the OD on the pipes for you ASAP.

KYElimEagle: Sangers are a brilliant boat, but for some reason, my wife hated it. Never could figure out why....

I have a set of slip on mufflers that have the spring loaded screen on them, with a similar exhaust set up... it mixes at the end and water splashes around to muffle it, but as soon as throttle is applied, it flips open...

That sounds like an intereseting set up. Who makes it and do you have any pictures?

Cheers!

No problem. When you have the size contact me and we'll set you up with some inserts.
