Looking for a pulse or wheel style speed sensor that's good above 75mph.
Need to feed an ECM for mileage calculations, so my Garmin GPS head won't do it. Everything I've found so far is rated at 75 or less.
Any suggestions?

It's going to a automotive ECM on a duramax diesel in a boat.
Wants to see a 5V pulse signal where X amount pulses = 1 mile. I can calibrate the ECM to the sender, just trying to find something rated at higher speeds.

Also mercruiser has a through hull depth/speed sensor with a (19 ft.) wire harness. Part number was 883090, But the number has now superseded to 883090A01.
But unfortunately the listed information does not say what speeds the through hull fitting is capable of doing.
You can copy and paste the part numbers in the link below.

Good luck with it.

I'm not sure how accurate you need the speed to be. But since speed increases fairly linearly with rpm on a boat ,you could use a sensor on a flywheel or crank pulley mounted reluctor.
I am curious why you want/need the vss, just for milage?
