the best flame arrestor

i just was wondering what was the best flame arrestor to use on my dominators. I was goin to use the K/N ones but heard they restrict airflow at higher rpms so whats everybody else running and any good suggestions

We sell & install both styles. But it depends on what you need to do as far as which ones are better..
If you bilge is clean as most are then the stainless mesh arrestors flow the best , as they are the least restrictive and easiest to clean.
However if you have a lot of belt dust or what not then the K&N style marine ones keep the air going into the engine a little cleaner but have a little less flow.
You can counter act that slightly more restrictive qualities of the K&N style tho if you use a larger filter element. However that depends too on how much space you have..
