I believe there was someone awhile back that had this style of rear covers on their pumps, cam stock on a 525SC engine. A quick look on the internet showed that MIAMI MARINE SPECIALISTS, 1950 N.E. 135th St., North Miami, Fl, 33181
Phone (305)945-7997 | Fax (305)945-3675 has one in stock. I recently convereted my standard pump cover to something similar to you current stlye by installing two 90 degree barbed plastic fittings. Hope that this helps.

I know on my Pantera, I had to keep using the original set up like he has. I tried installing a plastic housing kit and it would hit my engine mount. Not sure if the original style back plates are available anywhere.
It looks like it may be part #7 in this diagram, but the price is nuts($175) and the pic does not show the back side.

Looks like the one side is rusted away pretty bad.
CP has a billet back cap that you can put fittings on. But by the time you buy the cap and the fittings, you aren't going to be too far away price-wise from an exact replacement from Merc like what Griff posted.
