I'm running a stealth, I like it better than the Air Gap. IMO its a nice compromise between a traditional dual plane and a single plane plus its operating range fits my engine perfectly. I was thinking about trying a single plane but Dave at Wesco said I was splitting hairs and to call it good. Aren't you running the stealth as well?

Yes, I am also running Stealths. JimV also likes the Stealth from back in the old B class days same compromise that you stated. I have the floors on my Stealth welded up to match the wedges in my heads. These will still match Jims new Dart Marine Heads that I hopefully will have together in the next few weeks. can't wait to see how they perform.

I believe a carb'd 500HP came with a Dart single plane. So I do not think the Air Gap is to much intake.
