1. Why is ethanol bad for boats?
2. If a gas station has ethanol in their gas do they have to put a sticker on the pump saying "may contain upto 10% ethanol"
3. When someone says this motor needs premium will there be a difference between 91 and 93 becasue I have seen both as being labeled premium.

1. Ethanol can start separating from the gas after only 30days. It then sits at the bottom of the tank where the fuel pick up usually is located.
2. Ethanol will attract any moisture that may be in the fuel tank
3. When starting a boat after 30 days or so, you can get a straight shot of ethanol, therefore causing a lean condition and possible detonation to cylinders. Ethanol, obviously alcohol, can also strip the cylinder walls of any oil film, i.e. lean condition.
