I have a 4.5 BGTC genset (first genny I've owned).
Last night I changed the oil and pencil anode zinc. I had to cut the zinc down about 1/2 inch to have enough clearance to fit into the hole for it. Anyone know if this is common?
Searching the net I found it takes 2.7 qts of 10w 30. There are 4 holes on the dip stick. It says nothing in regards to "full" or "low". After 2 qts it looks full, but I'm unsure. I guess I'll just run it for a bit once in the water and recheck.
Any other routine stuff I should look into? It has 83 hours on it.
