I have a 2000 model 454 Mag EFI 385hp that is tired. I am going to build a slightly larger engine, but I need to know if my heads are oval or rectangle port, as I am going to use my current fuel injection setup with a new program. I would like to build the new motor before disassembling the old one because it is still running.

Your heads are rectangle port, the same ones were used on the 502 also, Smitty

Friend of mine is in the same boat here. He's considering a cam & possibly a stroker kit. I guess he'll have to reprogram the module if he does any of the above?
