Im interested in the same thing. Has anyone used the Haltech e6k computer? A guy in Michigan uses a Haltech unit and gets over 1000 hp so I know they work and they are priced right to boot. Also Nordic why did you go only to the m-3 vs. m-4? Greg

This is to the replies concerning the efi setups, it has been a month now, and would be interested to see how successful each of you have been getting your systems tuned, and what problems you incurred that an efi buyer may knock down upfront.
Thanks

Hey Blown,
mine is a winter project so my results will be slow (that doesn't sound good
) I mean a longer wait. Right now I am a gatherer of parts and info.
GEO is already up and runnig and I believe ScarabJ will be very soon.
Hey J.V.Ironhands, did you ever get straightened out on your wiring.
HPJunkie, I got a deal I couldn't pass up. It appears that the M3 is good for well over 1000hp and all I'm trying to do is get back some altitude losses. Maybe a litttle more, 750hp or so.
Later,
Dave

Nordic heat, scarabj, Yes finally got fast computers up and running, actually just put boat in water last week, still have slight stalling problam but overall, not bad. Just glad to have boat on the water again. Tell me you guys think, 7400 # 34'Magic plus 180 gal of fuel, only running 72 mph with these 454 efi with the b&m 250 blower package. very dissapointed but am I asking too much from these motors, seemed alot faster when I tested boat originally with almost no fuel, Thanks John

Jack I have got my mine running, still too lean on top end, I am at 71's in fronts with power valves, and 85's in back. I have been experimenting with drilling the power valve transfer slots to richen the top end, trying to find the appropriate drill bits, my set doesn't have enough selections between a 1/32 and 1/16. Plugs are clean in the mid range and no puddling. I can't say that I have it right yet, but getting closer. Kinda had to start over since I am running a new set of heads this year. I love the crank trigger system it is very easy to setup and deal with, only machine work involved in that was machiining 3/8 off of the spacer between the accessory pulleys and the blower pulley. i still feel the fuel injection is the way to go, just trying to troubleshoot problems and wasted time and effort, with knowledge from the board. I have decided to build and piece together a hybrid, using the different hard parts and selecting the best computer system to tie it all together. Hopefully some insight from these guys will lead in the right direction.

Going in and out of gear from a idle, engine can't react fast enough, doesn't stall all the time, it's 90% better than the mefi 2'sWe have the idle at 750 if I manually raise idle to 850 it seems to work. I forgot to mention I'm turning 30" Bravo Ones. Engine mech. says it's a lot of prop for the engine to handle when going from forward to reverse, but I thought that's what the computers should compensate for. J.V.
