Hey Dave: Those are some sexy looking pipes...I'll forgive you for using them. Do you think this would fit?

Nordic- Did they weld it from the inside & the outside? Do you think my local welding shop can do this?

JS= what happen to your procharger?

Nordic Heat:

That's smart how you did that. You just have to be careful that the welds don't impede water flow. This is the hottest part of the elbow. Not enough water and the inner tube burns out. I know this from experience.

Dave, this shot shows the front and back clearance required for the supercooler. Will this clear your back seat and the deck where it supports the rear of the hatch? I know you just got everything running nicely and had a good summer, but the box swap is probably only an afternoon's project...remember more HP is better than sex!

Question

The only place it might be an issue is in the front where the hatch closes. I'll have to take a look over the weekend.

We were very careful to keep water restriction to a minimum and it stays very cool in the general area.

The Intake manifold that the dual carb box fits on is angled where the back is lower than the front. If the height is the same as an HP500 I should have no problem there. Now my box just hits the cover in the back & have 1/2"+ clearance at the front.

TC- Since I have stage4 procharger I will need to check & see where my output is compared to the one in your picture.

Turbojack: You will probably find that your outlet is farther back, but since the M4 mounts wider than the Vortech you will likely have room for a little dogleg to match up with the plenum. We had to do this on NEVRENUFF's M1.

I'm very interested in hearing how you guys are getting along with the FAST system because a 4 barrel throttle body will obviously fit inside the box, and I made sure that the bottom of the box would not interfere with the fuel rails.

Nordic Heat: How far are you from Las Vegas? We are going to have a booth at the SEMA show in November. Maybe we can hook up.
