Sorry for being off topic a bit, What I have for sale is a Rechargeable Canister Light with a 5 Watt 5 led bulb these bulbs last years. This bulb puts out about 450 Lums and will burn with this battery pack for about 6 Hours before requiring recharge. The battery pack has 10 NIMH AA batteries wired in series with a 2500 mah rating. Cable length is about 3 foot 4 in. The light housing and 2” diameter battery case is constructed from PVC and plastic. Everything on the light is user friendly and easy replaceable easily obtainable O-rings seal all the caps and end pieces. There is no switch to go bad you simply just align the two dots on the Marine plugs and push them together. You can plug and unplug IN or OUT of the water without any problems. I have used these lights at depths of over 100 feet for years and never had one leak. The lens cover is lexan polycarbonate. The battery case will fit easily into a BC pocket 7 inches long. The Torch is 9” long. Different MR16 bulbs can be purchased on E-Bay. The pictures are of the Actual light for sale. It puts out all the light you will ever need. Included is a Tenergy NIMH charger. I make these to last and function not look great. I only have one light like this for sale Any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

These lights are made by Lumishore and they come with a controller which allows you to choose from six pre-set colors or you can custom mix your own!

I was obsessed with installing underwater LED's on my boat last year and I spent countless hours on the internet researching all the available lights and IMO none of the other lights out there come close to these Lumishores in brightness and quality of manufacturing... Not to mention that they are the only underwater LED's available that give you so many choices of color simply by pushing a button on a controller.

Maybe it's the video, but in all honesty they don't look very bright. How many lumens are they? Selecting between colors is nice though.

Keep in mind that the video was shot before it was totally dark outside, and the water in the Niagara River can be a little murky and the lights still look awesome! The darker the sky and the clearer the water ~ the brighter the lights will appear. Also, certain colors reflect far more light than others... the white, green, cyan and blue illuminate further than the red.

While the boat is on plane and at cruising speed, friends of mine who have been on the water at night and have seen me go by told me that the light in the rooster tail is as long as my boat.

My stuff is fairly disposable but it was like $200 and they APPEAR brighter, $3k is outside my budget, I'm just a lowly engineer

I haven't secured my stuff permanently yet, but for the prices I've seen for some of the brands I can afford a spare set...or 10

I boat in the Detroit River area, about as murky as it gets...they are certainly not of this quality, though $3k for lights seems crazy, but I'd guess that's because I have a $10k boat, on a $60-100k boat it makes more sense

Keep in mind that this was filmed with a cell-phone, not a high def. video camera, so a lot of the light illumination that the eye can see is lost. To see some high def. video of these lights and what they really look like, check-out Lumishore's website.

As I mentioned in a previous post, the rooster tail illumination behind my boat is 35 feet long when the boat is on-plane at cruising speed... not too shabby. Next year I plan on taking some high def. video from a boat running parallel to mine.

As far as the cost, I had NO plans to spend that much when I started my search for underwater LED lights, (!) but NO other company made purple underwater LED's not to mention all the other colors available at the push of a button.

Also, the fact that I didn't have to drill into my transom to install these lights kind of sealed the deal for me!

Those other brands of LED's mentioned in this thread including the coastals DO look pretty bright and the prices are even better, but unfortunately for me, I had to have purple.

You guys don't have to try to convince me that I'm crazy for spending that kind of $$$ on underwater lights for my boat... I KNOW I'm nuts!
