You can do a combination of the Kodiak discs (you would only need two axles done = 12000#). You can then leave the surge coupler for now or convert to electric over hydraulic later. The electric-hyd coupler & truck controller are about $500.00 plus labor.....I am doing the Kodiak's with the surge for now.
I will probably start mine next week at Discount trailers. It's not worth the headaches with as much wrong as was on mine!
Bearings, seals, races, complete brake assemblies, polishing axles, etc. Plus, what are you going to do with the mess left over???
