Bennett Pump with K-Planes?

Can I run a Bennett V351 pump with K-planes, or other high-speed tabs? I just came across a brand new one and wanted to make sure before buying. Planning on putting 280's or similar size on my Velocity 260.

The bennets use only a single-acting ram, without a whole lot of pressure, either.

A prestolite or oildyne merc pump, on the other hand, supports the double-acting ram, and can crank out upwards of 4000 psi.
