Not sure I would say you guys are buried at especially you Jason at $19K for fully blueprinted, all forged internals, header equipped, freshwater cooled and beautifully accessorized 650HP EFI marine performance engine . I think a good reality check would be to call for Example Teague, Ilmor, Mercury Racing, Cobra, Young, Haxby, ETC., ETC. and ask them for a current quote on a complete comparable 600HP + EFI engine from any of them and I believe your ears are gonna hear numbers like $40K, $50K, $60K and figures in that general area. Buy at those numbers, put it in your boat and then you might justify saying you are buried! At $19K you're doing just fine!

I've always been a Raylar Cheerleader and that's common knowledge. I don't regret a thing. Thing screams in my boat and I can't wait to try out the new upgrade if Dana can get my exhaust done sometime soon.
The "buried in it" comment is to say that I'm buried in it more than I ever thought I would be as it goes with any toy project.
Don't mean to say that I'm buried in a negative way but just saying that uh, yeah; i'm far enough that it's more like a commitment in that you can't or would never just toss it and start over etc.. Buried dude; that's what I am.
We could debate the numbers but it's not as easy as the numbers alone.
Hope to be on the water by Friday!
