Default adding captians call

I' am installing a y pipe and captains call originaly it only had thru hull. How hot will my y pipe get (stock 7.4 MPI) its close to one of my oil lines should I be concerned? what woud be a good distance away from them?

the only time it will get hot is if you blow a impeller.

Agreed. I can put my hand on the y pipe, even after a long wot run. It's hot, but won't burn your hand.

It is after all connected to your exhaust risers by way of rubber boots.

they dont get hot enought o evaporate water that drips on it. so not to hot.
