Also people ( extra weight) hanging out on the your swim platform or hanging out on those already heavy extended platforms can cause water reversion while at party cove. This can lower the stern of the boat in the water so the waterline level is higher with the relation of the motor.

We see this alot with the big extended swim platforms added on either with the molded ones into the hull or the added on ones like swimplatforms.com. Also do not back your boat / trailer down fast at the boat ramp and never back it down with your transom tie downs still hooked - that also will / can cause water reverision. Good luck.

I just pulled one of my through hull tips today off the hull and was looking at the little metal bracket inside wondering what it was for. Mine does not have any rubber left on it at all, just the metal pieces.

Now I know, thanks OSO!
