Any of you guys have any input?? I am looking to throw a set of the AFR's on my boat with twin SBC's and I am wondering if I should run the angled or straight plug.
I am thinking the angled plug will give way mor clearence to the manifolds, as the factory heads have staright plugs and it is close!! Thanks. |
so it is going to be in the 492-ish range? i was going to ask...why does noone use oval ports? they go straight from round ports to rectangles. from what i hear, the square port doesn't even start to flow until 6000 or so.

I was thinking maybe this was a very heavy slow boat and thats why they are stuck on oval ports, but that is not the case. I run Brodix BB3 EXTRA-0 331cc oval ports on my motors but they are much larger than the std oval port type heads. I think any of the Dart, Brodix, AFR etc small rectangular port heads would also be a good choice.
