Tried to respond to your PM but OSO stated that you were not accepting PM's. I'm heading out Wed. morning really early, 4 a.m. and will be caravaning with a 35 Formula. Staying at the Hampton Inn and I always rent a 25X100 storage unit at the Islander. I have a spare set of heads ready to go, if you need them. Call me at 916 539-2540 if you need anything and let's get together at the lake. Doug

Shoot..all we have over here is 91 these days...Running 8:1 and @ 8.5 lbs boost with a Chiller. I have another pulley I want to run..but it's only good for about another 1bs or so. Safe? Or safer just to bump my timing up a bit.

Thanks Doug..Head are welded and totally redone..Check and cleaned all the cylinders today to make sure no issues there..everything is ready to go on..Should have it fired by Friday afternoon...Work a 24 on Sat..Hope to do a shakedown on Folsom on Sunday..then work a 36..then have all day Tuesday for detail..Out the door on Weds if all goes as plan.

I was gonna run my wet non muffler OTT Tips at Havasu vs my dry OTT muffler tips..Do you think they will be checking for noise at Havasu??

I have Stelling headers and have never had a problem on the Desert Storm week. We usually idle on one motor as often as possible. I have clamp on's but don't run them. I was told that up river it may be a problem but so far I have not been bothered. The marina next to the Natical will not allow you to buy gas. I did experience that a few years ago. I pull my boat every nite so we fuel on the trailer. Doug
