Hopefully have it fired up by Friday if all goes well..

As far as Timing goes..I have been running 30..Ok on pump??

Tried to respond to your PM but OSO stated that you were not accepting PM's. I'm heading out Wed. morning really early, 4 a.m. and will be caravaning with a 35 Formula. Staying at the Hampton Inn and I always rent a 25X100 storage unit at the Islander. I have a spare set of heads ready to go, if you need them. Call me at 916 539-2540 if you need anything and let's get together at the lake. Doug

craig,33 total timing with 92 or 93 if u can get it,trust me,u will be glad you did.

Shoot..all we have over here is 91 these days...Running 8:1 and @ 8.5 lbs boost with a Chiller. I have another pulley I want to run..but it's only good for about another 1bs or so. Safe? Or safer just to bump my timing up a bit.

Thanks Doug..Head are welded and totally redone..Check and cleaned all the cylinders today to make sure no issues there..everything is ready to go on..Should have it fired by Friday afternoon...Work a 24 on Sat..Hope to do a shakedown on Folsom on Sunday..then work a 36..then have all day Tuesday for detail..Out the door on Weds if all goes as plan.

I was gonna run my wet non muffler OTT Tips at Havasu vs my dry OTT muffler tips..Do you think they will be checking for noise at Havasu??

I have Stelling headers and have never had a problem on the Desert Storm week. We usually idle on one motor as often as possible. I have clamp on's but don't run them. I was told that up river it may be a problem but so far I have not been bothered. The marina next to the Natical will not allow you to buy gas. I did experience that a few years ago. I pull my boat every nite so we fuel on the trailer. Doug
