Default My v8 won't start with a v6-14 module

Pulled out my v8-24 and swapped in a v6-14. It hit once and tried to start and now it won't do anything but crank. I'm by myself so I haven't been able to check for spark at the coil but im assuming since it hit once there is spark. I've tried pumping and pumping and nothing. Tried holding it wide open and still nothing, any ideas would be great

Kind of what I'm suspecting, I killed the battery trying to start it, I'm gonna put the v8 module back in tomorrow and see what happens

Is the module grounded properly????? Both the ground wire and the module case need a good ground or you won't get any spark.

I bolted it in exactly as the other one came out and the boat ran before I changed modules. Im going to try and clean up the surface of the plate and try to get a better ground. I'll post back results later today.
