Dont see the need on my boat to be honest with you I have seen more hassle with other boats and using them. Lines get caught or people hit them and dent their boat. Launching and landing a boat is not hard, way to many people make a chore out of it then what it needs to be.

Do you have training wheels on your motorcycle? 
I agree with all the above. I've never had an issue loading the boat, and I had to remove my guide poles because they were too high to fit through my garage door anyway. Properly adjusted bunks make loading a breeze.
