Default Retractable cleats leak

Washing the boat yesterday and found that the retractable cleats pour water into the cabin. Is there a way to seal them ?

they make a plastic housing with a drain hose that prevents that

Weldcrane is correct. I have them on my deck cleats and they work. Here they are:
