Default GM engine oil supplement (EOS) anyone use it?

As some of you may know I had the low oil pressure alarm sender let go on one of my engines and piss a bunch of oil out to the point I had some real rattling lifters before I shut it down . Afriend who I respect suggested I go to the GM dealer and get some EOS, said it would be a good idea given this situation, Ive never heard of the stuff, anyone ever use it???........thanks Doug

Can you use it in a older motor to help with anything?
