Are you serious? That sounds awfully cheap. Im looking to do both rotating 383 assys from Lunati, and they run ~$3600-3800each. Dart Pro 1 heads are another $2800+ per set.
heres what i would do,,instead of tearing apart what you have sell them as used or keep them and put them in the corner of your garage for later when you sell the boat so you dont loose youe but when it sells..

I just completed this exact build up for a Magnum 27
2 DART Blocks 2 piece mainseals
2 Eagle forged cranks, internal balanced
2 set Eagle H-Beam rods
ATI balancers
2 sets AFR heads with full internal and external coating from DART Coatings
J&E Pistons 10.0 : 1 CR
Custom grind Comp Cams
Comp Roller lifters
Canton Marine oil pans
Steel billet flywheels
All ARP studs and fasteners
Edelbrock Air gap Intakes, also coated by Dart
Holley 750 Marine
MSD Marine ignitions
CMI Headers
All bearings are coated by Calico
for this build we stripped the heads and changed valve stem clearance, and did a full valve job. Block was bored and honed for a marine application, different clearances than automotive with seawater cooling.
Custom order piston rings, a marine engine is working all the time, you need different rings unless you desire to rebuild in 2 seasons again!
the blocks require a lot of hand work to debur and set up for this application . .
Added to this are serpentine pulleys w/o self adjusting tensioners, new starters, alternators and PS pump.
Crank driven water pump, 2 SS crossovers and 2 SS t-stat housing . . .
Goal is 475-500 HP on 93 Octane . .cams are designed for peak torque from 3000 RPM - 6000 RPM . .expecting 430 ft lbs lbs torque
do not use hypereutectic pistons . . .build it with atleast forged rods, go with lower volume intake runners, this builds torque, and you'll rarely run it long in the upper rpm range unless you plan to race.
Torque moves the boat
In the next week I'll post some pics in the Magnum Section

I am switching from 383 strokers to sbc 400 strokers... I used stock sbc 400's.. After all the expense to hone and such, I wish I would have went all dart.. I used all good parts including dart heads. So, I have a pretty good setup when I could of had a great set up. After all the expense it took to prepare the blocks for this set up for couple of hundred dollars more I could have have a great set up. Hind sight.....What ever size you go with, don't waste your time try to use stock blocks.....Use dart and be done...And I agree save your stock motors for when you sell it. And you will have a set of good motors to put in your next boat... I say go with the small block 427 and be done. They will work in nearly any future boat you get also......
