Assuming it's a 385 stroker from the parts list I'd guess between 390 and 440 at the crank. What's the compression ratio?

sbc build
I don't know. Originally spec'ed @ 9.6 I believe.
Have not spoken to engine assembler in a while. Health issues on his and my side of family. Thanks, Rory |
Is it being dyno'd with the EMIs ir through auto headers-
Dynos water pump or yours? (full accessories or not) Where is the dyno at? Uncle Dave |
sbc build
Dyno w/headers , my water cir.pump installed w/ alt.
Shop is in Pensacola Fl. Thank you, Rory |
I would say 450-475hp tuned in with the dyno headers. It looks like a nice build and the AFR 195's are great heads. I run the older port 190cc on my 385ci. With the wet EMI's 410-425hp.
Why the aluminum flywheel in a marine application? I would stick with stock steel. |
Thanks Ryan;
Marine kinetics spec'ed alum.wheel as well as 57-5800 cam. Getting closer to replacing 88 270hp 350 mag alpha, w/bravo sbc build. WHAT A PROJECT !! Thanks again, Rory |
Id guess 440 HP and about 430 Ft lb on auto headers.
About 380 HP in the boat - with a S bend. Ill be interested to see what RPm the torque starts, and if it stabilizes at 3K( which Im guesing with a Madera cam and an air gap it will. Are you running a 1" spacer on the air gap? Should be a nice mill. Good luck! Uncle Dave |
Uncle Dave;
Thanks for the time. No S pipe. straight thru hull. Yes on spacer Yes to earlier post, STROKED Thanks again U. D. Rory |
fixx
has a friend do a similar build...494 hp and 501 ft lbs of tq...im going to say you will be around the same..
