Default Tether Kill switch wiring

Purchased a new one off ebay to wire into my Baja which the PO had removed.. Problem is it seems like most i read were a normally closed switch, which opened the circuit when disconnected, and was inline with the purple wire for ignition.. The one which i recieved is the opposite, and is normally open, is there still a way to wire this in to work, or shall i chock up the loss and find a vendor for one of the other types?

You would need a relay to make it work, just more connections and more to go wrong. Unless its going to bust the bank you might call it a loss
