Need flywheel advice

actually i just do car front wheel bearings this way. a friend used to put hubs on rotor shafts for helicopters back in conn same way. he had 10 seconds to get hub on shaft. if not down all the way, it was expensive scrap metal.

If your doing it on a damp day, wipe off the condensation off of the flywheel before you drop the ring gear on. I used to do Piston pins this way without an arbor press. We had some damp days and the condensation cooled the rods too quickly, had to take them to the machine shop anyway.
