Motors will get full of grease if someone is overzealous with their greasing. Typically any motor or gear assembly connected to a motor with a zerk fitting only needs a couple pumps of grease. Sometimes people go crazy and keep pumping, thinking that "the more the better". I know because I have done this and suffered the consequences. Doh!
If your motor was still working, you can use electronic contact cleaner to get all the grease out and keep using the motor, or just leave it alone and keep using it. i used a two 40amp bosch style relays but the reversing relay u guys have looks much cleaner |
