Angle cut looks better, straight if you plan to attach anything to them...

No plans for mufflers, originally wanted to buy thru hull dry tails but had an absolutely HORRIBLE time trying to get them from the place in florida that sells for cmi.

I don't think I have enough motor to need mufflers at this point anyway.

I had angle tips on my last boat and ended up adding muffler tips, I cut them off when needed. Just make sure you get ANYTHING you want long enough to meet future needs. I think somebody already said that, but it's good advice, spend a little extra for the long(er) ones on the outside. It's not that much more anyhow.

Did you try Imco California warehouse for your dry tails ? Did you notice no one on the board has angle cut tips for sale .

No, CMI told me they only have 2 dealers in the country, I actually talked with one of them over and over and over and was unable to complete an order since it seems that only 1 person at the whole damn place is able to take orders and they are always busy, running errands, or having personal issues.

The other place just plain never got back to me. I ended up buying used tails.
