Fuel supply system
Just bought a 2007 Checkmate 230 ZT with a Mercury 500 EFI engine and noticed that there is an electric fuel pump in the tank pumping fuel to a manual fuel pump on the engine which pumps fuel to the fuel rail.
Never ran across this kind of setup on any of my small block Mercruiser engines. The engine is not stock for this boat. It is a replacement for a Mercruiser 277 cu in 320 hp engine. Is this setup normal?
