Question Coating tabs options?

Chroming does not last it just peels off within a short period of time.. I`d like to keep the same finish and shine, what are my choices?
Anodizing, ceramic coating, powdercoat?

Eddie marine didn't chrome them. Previous owner had them Coated.

I do think the rams should be mirror polished
