I just installed one a couple of weeks ago. I'll take a look tonight and post it. Of course that's assuming I actually installed it correctly. When we test fired the engine, there wasn't a small mushroom cloud over the alternator so I proably got it right...I hope...

If its a Delcotron 10-s1 you can convert it over to a single wire with a kit. Jegs and Summit sell them

Big hairy thunder storms came through last night, so I didn't get to check. I'll try to do it tonight, but we're supposed to get more rain.

Merc mechanic I know sez attach the 10 ga. output wire to the output terminal and just tape and tie back other wires. They're just not use with single wire applications. I want to put larger ones on my Formula 272. At night with lights and bilge blowers on and even a high idle I'm still under 12 volts. Turn on the dock lights or plug in the 29 gazillion megawatt spotlight and things really go down the tubes

OK, the 8g red wire goes to the large terminal. This wire leads to the starter stud. The black 10g wire goes on the terminal that holds the resistor. The two smaller wires should be obvious-color to color. There is also a orange 10g wire that hooks up. This is the wire that excites the alternator. That's why mopower can't get it to charge at idle. The only thing is that it was pouring out and I couldn't seem to find the wire. I have a diagram at work. I'll see if I can find the answer on there...
