Default Help- lost signal- GPS speedo

I installed a Nordskog digital speedo about 6 wks ago. Everything has been great, really pleased with the product.

This weekend I had no signal, all weekend. I have the optional "mouse" antenna, secured under the dash reading through the fiberglass- always worked fine since day one. For giggles I moved the antenna outside for a direct look at the blue sky- still no signal.

All my connections seem fine, properly secured, strain relief in mind etc, well tie wrapped.

Is there any way to test individual pieces- anything else I should be checking?

If you have a hand held GPS with a NEMA(i think that whats its called?) output you should be able to test the headunit to see if thats the culprit.
Does the Speedo go through a diagnostic check upon first activation like the Livorsi unit does? Maybe that right there can signal you somehting that may be causeing the problem?

I've got an ETREX which i supsect I can buy a cable for and try as you advise.

I've got my system wired hot all the time to preserve my big number- it does not do a diagnostic mode all the time that I know of but i will pull juice and reset just to make sure.
