What type drive do you think you might run? gear Ratio? with that set up may I suggest a High Rake, reverse double cupped two blade aluminum super sonic twister model version 4.1 prop! let me know if I can help you get it through customs.

All you have to do is put a carb spacer on your Bayliner and you'll get a couple thousand rpm out of it. If you don't have the money to buy a spacer you can use a piece of plywood and cut it out. Just make sure it's marine grade. That's what I did on my last build and it made another 200 hp.

I think if you put a 3rd axle under the trailer, over inflate all 6 tires, (Rt side more than pass side to offset heavy driver) and strap it real good to the boat, you'd be able to use the 4 banger out of your Pinto and go faster! Those tires will give LIFT. Could also strap a piece of particle board ( MARINE plywood is way over rated) to the bottom of the trailer for more lift......more speed. That's how them Skeeters and MTEYES can go so fast! When its smooth water of course. If you go to flea markets, keep an eye out for one of fancy electric trailer tounge jacks. With a switch at the helm, help with bow lift!

I would recommend dragging the whole hull behind the truck without the trailer to sand down those factory hooks in the bottom. Those aren't needed, and will result in at least a 15 mph gain.

That's old technology all that fast guys are making their own props out of plastic. I like to drive around the hood and pick up old weed eaters I use the string heads to make my props. Totally custom you don't need to spend thousands to go fast it's free.
