It's not about the motor it's about the big outdrive. You can have a 4 cylinder and go just as fast as a 600ci blower motor as long as you have a big outdrive.

Got it thanks for the tip!

I love how you try to pull me into yet another thread with your verbal diarrhea and comparing me to these assclowns. Guess you don't follow my thread as I'm using a 4340 crank, 4340 rods.... But you are a bit slow and have trouble with reading comprehension, not to mention spelling. I have plenty of money, again if you look at the parts I have utilized its apparent I'm not the average budget guy by any means, I just don't spend it on whiskey tango pole barns... I live in Scottsdale in a very large home, you live in Illinois. Enough said.

You must be rich how did you get so much money back? I could buy 3 or 4 more boats with that kind of money. Probably build the fastest v-hull in the world.

I am not going to run carburetor junk on this build. It WILL BE TURN KEY EFI DEPENDABLE . I am going to mount the ECM in the cuddy cabin so it stays dry (after i fix the crack in the hull hopefully). IT WILL BE A MONSTER. Wait until you hear the lope from my 194/203 115lsa cam. This engine is gonna pull so much vacuum at idle it will suck the panties right off my old lady if she gets to close to it.

yep,efi is the way to go,who needs forged crankshaft, hyd roller cam or good flowing cyllinder heads, all you need is efi,it,s so much better than any carb and can even save your engine from detonation.im looking at an efi setup on ebay from a 1985 cadillac seville.i was going to bid on a efi unit off of a v6 camaro but it,s not in the budget, afterall,im not rich!

Been thinking about pulling the engine out of my chevelle to put in the boat. But I am worried i'd snap the transom in half. Check out this STUMP PULLER i built. Neck snapping. BTW, it has Peanut port GM heads, except i installed smaller than stock valves and a HEI ignition with a MSD COIL. I cant seem to get a decent 60ft time though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y21vzUZ25XE

Wow, a injection unit off a mid 80s caddy? You have way more money than i do. And i dont appreciate you spending mine for me. I have a perfectly good 4-6-8 caddy engine out in the barn. I am going to retrofit the ecm it to my 454. This way, when i am cruising down the river, i can cut cylinders out like the new Hemi and save on gas. I am gonna have it all on switches at the dash. So when those fountain big shot jerks come up to me, i can flip on all 8 cylinders and show them how its done.

Oh you weren't taking about me?! Didn't realize there is another guy on here with a "trovar" as you call it. You are so very unoriginal and pathetic... Granted there are some guys on here, as evidenced by the last couple of days that truly are train wrecks, however I don't appreciate being associated. Especially by some illiterate, half breed red neck like you. You can turn a wrench, so can I. Where we differ is I am eloquent and well spoken/read, and you are a bumbling ratard who thinks he's the marine engine god. Well maybe in your pitiful circle you may be, however, the rest of use know the truth. To be funny, you need wit, that is something god definitely DID NOT bestow upon you.....

I'm currently doing some fiberglass work and will be assembling my engine here shortly. It will be detailed in my build thread. Not like I'm hoping you follow as I could give two s**ts what you think.
