I love fountains, but the 32 and 29 twins are not my favorites. The water line issue scares me. My friend used to get calls from the marina that is 32 was sinking. Another friend with a 29 twin almost sunk his boat with 4 people on the platform, water over the hatches.

Any deals on 35s? If you can swing it, the 35 trumps both IMO.

Owned both a Formula and a Fountain, I would buy the Fountain unless its a rat. Both boats need a good survey looking for rot.

4 Bus, your buddy with the 29 Fountain with twins must have some pretty big friends to almost sink his boat with 4 on the back swimstep.

Only thing i do not care for about my 32 is the lack of being able to walk around the boat to tie lines, You have to stand on the bolster and walker over the windshield to get to the deck or dukes of hazard it out of the cabin hatch.. other then that the 32 is a winner in my book..

It was a combination of people on the back, and a wake.

My point is there is not a lot of room for error with the 29-32. I know there are a lot out there, and people love them. They just scare me, rub rail already in the water.

Not saying they are bad boats, just not for me. And if I was in the market for a 32 I would certainly be shopping for a 35
