Well I measured it at 107inches - back to napa with the 105inch belt I just bought - we put them together and measured and the 107 was longer - they did a cross reference and show that the belt I originally bought was the correct one - either I'm not routed right wich I don't see another way or they are mistaking !

I can almost get it on the pulley with the adjustments but can't get it over the lip- I'm pulling with everything I got !!

Is it suppose to be this tough?

Rick post 82 - pic 1 and 2 do u have the adjustment pulley loose and all the way down ?

If I recall ur app is not stock correct ? Can you post a pic of the front of what you have or is the pic in post 84 your app or the exact same ? What motor do you have - I know mercruiser and what year ?

You must have adjustments somewhere if there is no spring idler, to either lengthen or shorten.
Alt brackets usually give you quite a bit. Hope this helps, good luck

the adjustment is in post 82 pic 1 and 2 that is his adjustment pulley - not 99% sure, I am 110 % sure as that is it. It needs to be loosen from the front nut on the pulley and lowed till the belt slips on. Then pulled back up and belt properly adjusted. Then tighten pulley with 2 box end wrenches keeping upward pressure to hold pulley in place.

Yes sir pulley is all the way down - the old belt came right off with no hastle !

Almost the same - I have a whipple in front but I pulled that belt off -the motor I posted is. 502 aswell
