WETTE VETTE,
I'll probably be turning around 5,500 RPM,
Probably go with the deeper ARP rocker studs.

Cool!! Tell Les we will see you guys at Hardy. I am assuming you will be riding with Eliminator 219. I can't wait to see his boat. Tell him I will gladly drive it around so he can get some good pictures.

WETTE VETTE,

Affirmative!
I'll have the pleasure to be riding with Eliminator 219.
I don't think he will let you drive because all the drool would probably sink the boat!

Could somebody post a pic of a "bore notched" cylinder?

I'm planning to unshroud my valves (in a GM iron rectangular port head), pocket port, gasket match the ports, and polish the chambers of my heads. I'd also like to lose a smidge more compression thru bore notching, but I haven't seen it done yet.

I want to run an .039 gasket but keep compression as low as possible with my stock 502 components. Does anybody know if the pistons will need to be notched if I replace the 2.19 intakes with 2.21's?

I will still tow my boat up to see what's going on and meet some of you guys, but it still won't be ready I don't think.

Mcollinstn, I don't think you will bennefit from a bore notch on a 502 as much as you would a 454.

Check out tech tips on my home page. There is a picture of a bore notched block. http://hometown.aol.com/valakoracehe...raceheads.html
