Not gonna happen. Hoist is to short. Have the same hoist and I pull mine from the transom. Got to take the motor cover off or at least flipped out of the way. May be better off using a chain hoist from the ceiling if it can support it.

Looks like you have an attic access panel close by. Mount your chain fall to the peak of the trusses thru the access hole (a lot stronger than mounting to the bottom chord). Also you can keep the chain fall and all of the associated rigging above the plane of the ceiling. Will gain you about 12" in height.

My 'beam' and chainfall is about 10' above the boat , I don`t see how it could ever come out in that garage. Hang it off the trusses and that whole garage is gonna come down
