Not gonna happen. Hoist is to short. Have the same hoist and I pull mine from the transom. Got to take the motor cover off or at least flipped out of the way. May be better off using a chain hoist from the ceiling if it can support it.

Looks like you have an attic access panel close by. Mount your chain fall to the peak of the trusses thru the access hole (a lot stronger than mounting to the bottom chord). Also you can keep the chain fall and all of the associated rigging above the plane of the ceiling. Will gain you about 12" in height.

My 'beam' and chainfall is about 10' above the boat , I don`t see how it could ever come out in that garage. Hang it off the trusses and that whole garage is gonna come down

Just slip the boat right under!:

I pulled the top end off in the boat . Still had to take the tires off the trailer on one side and drop it down on the jack . Block and oil pan just cleared the gel coat but had the wife standing by in case I needed to throw her in between to save a scratch .lol Engine is safely on the stand . I will move it to my pole barn for reinstall , had enough of this working like a caveman chit .

increase bunk height on one side by adding some boards to raise one side of boat. Instant redneck tilt trailer
