I am going to pull my stock Pick-up and confirm. It was about a year ago when I last measured it. I thought it was 3/8" ID. I believe Kunkels Marine is running 1000 hp through the stock Checkmate pick-up.

Motor is at Champion performance right now for a rebuild. I want to rebuild basically back to stock with upgraded head gaskets, head studs, roller rockers. The one power producing upgrade I think I will do is the cam. Of course will put the Pro-Charger back on.

My tank had an extra bung the I dropped another 3/8 pick up in and Y'ed them to the -10 fuel line. I also took a lot of Eddies tips and Arctic friends tips to make 900hp out of an iron head 502/522.....Throw in a Madera cam and Bam!! Dump the fuel back into the tank also

I am in the process of fabbing a new pick-up now .48" i.d. to match the -10 fittings I am using to plumb the system. I bought the stainless 3/8 npt fittings and bored them out per Eddies suggestion (Thanks!). Once I removed the screen of the stock Checkmate pick-up I was surprised to measure its i.d. at .32". I was running approx. 700 hp thru this pick-up.

My pleasure Hadley. We build them with a 90* fitting on top of the tube for floor clearance. Just be sure you have enough room between the top of the tank and the floor to fit that straight fitting with a 90* hose end on top of it. Great job. Let me know if I can help any further.
