We never ran thermostats on our blower motors. Occasionally ran recirc pumps just because we didn't have a cross-over laying around.

Mine has normal BBC waterpumps from Summit, there new chrome like ones.
But I also have heat exchangers that have the thermostat in it.[ATTACH=CONFIG]533632[/ATTACH]

If you don't have the room you don't have the room ,but if you do and not running a 10 tenths build then yea cram it in there .a beach to beach blaster ,prob wouldn't worry about it ,but if I was making runs to cuba would prob at least tap the rear intake passages and pay close attention to how it was flowing , initially
