No, the needle scares 100mph, 98-99mph. Lol
It's a handful 70-75ish getting on the pad. But it settles down after that. You have to drive it, but not to bad.

Try some props with more blades and less blades. Might make it so it don't scare you any more.

If you put more power in them they get on the pad faster. At least that has been my experience.

Would a self tuning EFI system not be the way to go on a big inch motor ? Just asking , I have a pair of 598 long blocks put together and I'm thinking EFI would make life easy.
