This carb really isnt "under boost" so to speak. Its still a draw thru. Now, on a procharger setup, heck ya. You can make 1200+hp with a single 4150 carb.
On this particular engine, while it made very good power, I would have like to seen it get pulled with a 1050 or 1150 dominator. I'd be willing to bet a case of beer the numbers would have picked up a little. |
Very good numbers. Awesome job.

Who would think that kind of low speed torque is possible with rectangle port heads.

Great build :ernaehrung004:

Holy Crap, great job!!!

How much length does the Whipple add to the engine? My compartment is TIGHT.

Nice job guys! I'll bet a 1050 would have added 25+hp.

no need to run the a/f ratio in the 10s at this hp level.it is leaving the dyno with a safe tune that will no doubt be ritcher in the 5500 lb boat.it will have the a/f ratio checked on the madin voige.yes, imo the carb&flame arrester are to small but it is what he had.the heads had the valve job and bowl blending done on a neuen cnc head machine and i believe that helped a lot with the numbers.when it is in the owners budget it will get a set of afr305s and a much larger carb.it was run on bp 93.
