Has anyone checked the OP's link recently? They are now $329.99 a pair! At least a step in the right direction but still a little more than they need to be IMO...

Funny I received a bulk email from Hardin about exhaust tips last night what a coincidence lol. Although the tips were only priced at $89-99. A sale of one of the stainless flappers probably pays for their whole inventory of exhaust tips for the year lol.

I got the same email.. I thought it was pretty funny..

I'm pretty sure that's what they were when I started the thread.. I don't think the price has dropped... I'm going to stick with rubber flappers for $120... I just can't wrap my head around spending $1000 on flappers..

I think you are right and I confused myself with post #4 thinking they were $650 for EACH pair... oops I feel stupid lol. Still too expensive lol! As far as rubber flappers go, is it ok if they don't close all the way? I'm assuming so but want to be sure as it will make me feel better for being too cheap to buy the stainless ones lol.

I have to believe so...thousands of boats have black rubber flappers...

HA! We all should have tried the "group buy"! !

Please post up some close ups and a full write up on their fitment and quality. Very curious myself and who knows it may make you feel better about dropping a G on them

I was caving in myself and remembered I have the electric actuated silencers on my exhaust tips....... I hardly ever use them but 1st sign of an issue I will get rid of them and grab two sets of flappers....... Lucky for us Neil I've never been bothered about noise here on L.I.......

Me neither except for one very cranky guy at my marina who gives me a hard time. He's gonna love my new dry tailpipes... :poopoo:

Anyone that doesn't appreciate a big V8 rumble has a vagina. Oh, let me see my WIFE even likes the loud exhaust and tells me to leave the silent choice off! Some people.... :angry-smiley-038:
