budman, this is exactly what i said this thread would do,make people with afr heads start to worry.afr sells thousands of sets of cylinder heads yearly, quite a few oso members run them without problems.i know full force tim has a problem right now but we don,t know the cause of the failure yet.i hope if others have had problems with afr heads they would chime in on this thread but as of now i have not seen that happen.i like tim and i feel bad for him but i feel that afr has a very good product and i will continue to use them.the next few sets i get i will have my shop check the valve to guide clearance but i won,t loose any sleep about the ones i have installed in the past.i have one getting run on the dyno tomorrow,it,s sister made just shy of 1000 hp with afr heads.this post is in now way meant to be a slam on tim,he will get it sorted out and if i can help him in any way i will.
