That makes perfect sense. I do have a LM1 and I do notice the individual AFR's. Obviously with a carb my hands are tied, but with port injection just keep adjusting till it all levels out. I think I'm going to start piecing my EFI system together soon.

whats really nice w/ the newer systems is the individual cylinder control of fuel and spark.
next big break thru will be 8 individual o2 sensors.Back in 1986,I asked John Meaney to give me feedback control of the o2 sensors.said the hips didn't have enough computing power.I had serial #1&#3 ecu's from dfi.Still have it in plastic after an idle contol upgrade using the variable timing on the engine.what everyone takes for granted now.:)boy those were the days.

You still need ignition boxes with the new EFI setups, right? It won't eliminate my Crane HI-6M's.

you can use the box w/ distributor and a single coil.or,you ditch that old stuff for COP(coil on plug) set up.

If you decide to switch ignitions, I would likely buy your Crane 6M's boxes as back-ups.....I'm too old to switch

The box has a setting for o advance (lock out) so, you'll be fine.

Yeah, I run them locked out at 35° and pull 8° with their knock retard. I don't believe I have had any detonation, it just makes me feel safe.

No problem, you will be first on the list if I go a different direction.

Don't use a Dominator size (1050 cfm) or larger throttle body. LOL. :D

How in the heck did I ever get by for years with custom built 1071s on my NA 502s? Might have to do with volumetric efficiency, and boost venture sizing.
