I've driven a gravel train, a lead and a dump in the construction business in the past, and pull a 50ft enclosed trailer now does that count? if so then I'm proud as well

Wow, those look great. I want one right in the middle of my table for a centerpiece, screw putting them on an engine.

One thing that kills me is what does anyone do for a living mean? who cares..? because some guys are not engine builders by trade does not mean anything.... MANY guys know engine stuff very well and do not do it for a buisness, guess I should not listed to a few local buddys either with proven track records......

as far as the carb quality and cost, I need a carb that will supply flow out of the box that will be a 4150, Dominators, EFI and custom one off carbs will not work, I don't have endless budget and I am not chasing every last little HP, I realize with a 4150 I am possibly gonna leave some hp on the table, I am ok with that because I am not spending 6000.00 on carb setup, and NOT modifying my hatch... it is what it is...

to me the Quick fuel 950/1050 or Holley carbs I can bolt on and tune with my buddy Scott on the water, I doubt I will have money and time for dynos, I will be lucky to finish engines and to me the dyno is great but not a must, if I am done early then yes I will dyno them....but I had some short seasons the past few years and trying to not have one again...

I have tuned my own stuff in the water with all my past carbs the best I could and have been happy. so I may need to again..no need to go broke....

BTW I just do telecommunications, so I have zero buisness doing engine work for myself on my boat and Mustangs...

I agree completely , I read your first post and recommended the 4150 body BLP with Dom Base plate. It would allow you to have the best of both worlds . You could put Dominator Intakes on , with the ability to
move up if you had the money. Or if someone had a Pair of 4500s they would let you try, then you could . But you would still have very High Quality , Excellent performing carbs for a reasonable cost.
Last time I called Quick Fuel they have a similar set up , but you must run their adapter plate . Which would run into clearance issues for you . I apologize for hurting anybodys feelings , just tryin to help. Nothing against truckers , That job paid my bills well for about 5 years.

:lolhit::lolhit::lolhit::lolhit::duel:

To your point of the relevance of what someone's profession is Tim.........

When a hobbyist tries to discredit a very well respected professional with zero experience with said professional, it makes them appear foolish.
The same hobbyist recommended that you bury your flame arrestor in a blind hole in your hatch so you can fit a dominator on your Setup. Now, that's some solid advice there! :popcorn:
